So you bought some fish… Now what?

Ahi, Salmon, Hamachi, you’ve got sushi on the brain and fish on hand. How do you thaw it safely and efficiently to be eaten as sushi. This is our process for thawing Sushi Grade ingredients! This process typically has 4 steps and takes anywhere from 3-24 hours to complete depending on the thawing method you choose.

Note: I did use Salmon and Ahi in these pictures. Your fish will change color slightly during the thawing process but not from red to orange.
